The company Comm-Unity EDV GmbH offers an IoT solution for continuous monitoring of CO2 levels, room temperature and humidity of indoor spaces.
The solution can be used wherever several people meet, such as in
- meeting rooms
- waiting rooms
- school classrooms
- function rooms (cinema, theater, etc.)
- etc.

The CO2Wizard helps you to
- to keep the current air quality of the corresponding room always in view
- optimize energy costs (monitoring of temperature)
- optimize the humidity in indoor spaces

If a CO2 level exceeding 1500 ppm is detected, the CO2Wizard will alert you with a message on your cell phone that it is time to ventilate the room.

The CO2Wizard is very easy to use:

When you enter a room, you start the CO2Wizard and then scan the QR code that has been placed in the room.
You then select how long the CO2 content in this room is of interest to you - you can choose between one and three hours, or you can also specify a specific time for the end of the information period.
Done!

From now on, you will see the current CO2 content of the breathing air measured in Parts Per Million (ppm) on the display. A traffic light system visualizes whether the measured value is in the green, yellow or red range. If the value moves into the red range during your stay in the room, you will be alerted by a message on your cell phone that it is time to ventilate the room.

After the period you have selected has expired, your registration for the room will automatically expire and you will no longer receive any current information or messages.

If you leave the room earlier than planned, you can deactivate the air quality notifications at any time by simply checking out.

Swipe the display to the left to see the current room temperature.
Swipe the display to the right to see the current humidity.
If you swipe downwards, the history of the last 7 days is displayed in a diagram for the current measurement value.
If a diagram is currently displayed, swiping to the right or left displays the diagram of another measured value.

The currently selected room can also be saved as a favorite via the menu. This eliminates the need for repeated scanning when entering this room again.

You can find more information about the detailed functionality of the air quality measurement and an answer to the question why airing is so important on our homepage.

Have fun with ventilating!
